Guys day out

Every year several of my friends and I go down to Portland for the Christmas gun show. The show was ok I bought a book on German armor and some Under Armor long johns. Afterwards we went for lunch at BJ's bar grill and brew. It was really tasty and they had beer that they make there, which we enjoyed. On the way in we saw a cigar shop so we stopped by. As we started to look at the prices it was like man these are good prices. Just a little more expensive then Cigar.com.
SO I bought
3 AF 858 (Thanks fro turning me on to these Wolfdaddy) PS I probably be in Miami 4th week of January.
3 Hupman vintage Camaroon
1 TTT Trinidad

We then smoked some of the cigars we brought. I smoked the Maduro Partagas that came in the Friday special. Man I smoked that thing to the nub. No bite until the last inch and I smoked it till there was only half inch left. I am glad I have another.

We then drove back and went to a party for about an hour. After that I drove the hour home from my friends house. After I got home I just crashed.
 
It is always fun to have a day out. My Chief is planning one for the Brass here on Friday at a local Brewery. Hopes to be a good time!!!
 
They have BJ's up there too? I have ate (and drank!) at one down here in the Houston area, and they do have rather good beer! That reminds me, I need to go there again - it's been too long :) Sounds like a nice trip.

you think your gonna get him to come to florida for a smoke! i cant even get him to come to my house for a smoke, and i live 8 blocks from his work!!! lol. j/k ya red.

He said he's probably gonna be in Miami in January, so if I can't get him to drive three more hours up this way I could just go down there instead. :wink:
 
I know you are joking. This is the first weekend I have had a cigar since Nov12. I am finally feeling better. I am not hard core like you all that smoke when you are sick.

Feeling any better JiHiggs? I know you said you were pretty sick.

Hey Wolf, to drive it depends how long I will be there, and how long it takes me to setup the server. Theoreticly it should not take long. But Murphy seams to hit a lot in Miami :roll:
 
im not that hardcore, i dont even like to smoke in the cold, its just tollerable with the heater i put on my deck. yea, im feeling a lot better now. btw, did you notice the aroma de cuba i put in that bag of cigars you picked up? didnt know if you had tried one and i had just gotten a box of them.
 
I did notice that, but I thought I had just missed that it was in the Friday deal. I have looked at it several times. It looks and smells nice. Thanks. Have you smoked any yet? If so how were they?
 
oh yes, ive had a couple before and one from that box. one of my fan smokes. not too strong but very good.
