Not sure if anyone noticed - I haven't been around much.
The project in the yard ate a lot of time & is only 1/3 done.
Thankfully the new wall was put up in time to protect the house from
these bad floods we are having here on the east coast.
The water is still ragging & if we didn't get done what we did I think we would of lost the house.
Who knows for certain? BUT the Family & home are safe.
My Mom is coming out this week to spend a week & we are having our big 4th of July bash again so I am racing to finish a lot of things.
I miss hanging out with everyone very much!
Hopefully my life will go back to normal
soon.

As for updates on the river project - I'm having camera problems.
My brother plugged my camera into his computer & now all the pictures are stuck & I can't down load anything?
I heading out today to get a new card - hopefully
that will enable me to take new pictures.
Hope to be here a little more!

We have missed you CC - glad to hear the timing on the wall was good and that you're not living in a cardboard box!

I was thinking about it yesterday, that your timing was perfect with the wall - I still can't believe the amounts of water we are getting right now.

I think Robert and I will probably head over to check out the Castle soon - when things calm down for you. We'd probably need a boat to get there anyway.

Glad to hear from you Loren!

I was wondering what you were up to. Glad to hear things are well.

Has anyone heard from Scott (USMC6672) lately?

Hey CC good to hear from you My friend! Very happy that the wall was finished in time to earn it's stay immediately!

I have talked to many friends from both PA and Maryland who have had it very rough over the past week or so. My buddy in the Burgh had is chimney struck by lightning...blowing it off the house and shorting out anything that wasn't surge protected!

The building I used to work in before moving here had 50% of the roof collapse under the weight of the water and the company lost nearly everything including the new software release they were working on!!

It;s definately some crazy weather we are going to be experiencing this summer, hope everyone stays safe and sound and hopefully I will get to see some of you folks this year some time!

Say Hi to Misa from the wife and I CC

I was just thinking about you last night. Glad to hear you and Misa are OK.

As for the boat idea, there's a guy that lives in my are that lives on the river as many people do except he lives on an island along the river. He has a bridge that connects to the house and can drive his boat around it in the summer.

I though you were gonna tell me that he lives in a van down by the river.

Great news about the wall! Good to hear from you CC!

Living off a steady diet of government cheese!

Gotta love Chris Farley.

Glad to know your alright, I was wondering if you had the wall done in time.

See you around once you get settled back down.

Yea, Bildo and I will come out this fall!! I'll harvest and cook the game while everyone relaxes!

I just heard from Scott 2 days ago - he wants me to let you all know that he says hi and misses being on the forum. He is pretty busy at work and the baby is due in 2 months (a boy!) They are very excited right now.

Great to hear from you CC!

Glad to hear that the Castle has repulsed another water-based attack!
