Capt, it's too early to tell what's going to happen. If it stays like it is, around 100 MPH sustained winds, I probably won't have to evacuate. They'll most likely evacuate the areas closer to the beach, but I'm pretty well inland. I'm not planning to leave in any case. We'll just board up and ride it out.

I don't know how you east coast guys do it!

I know, I know.."You people in California have earthquakes."
At least with earthquakes we don't when they're coming. It just happens.
Hurricanes.....you know they're coming, you know WHEN they're coming, you know WHERE they're going! I couldn't do it. Knowing that EVERY year a couple of crazy ass storms could potentially destroy everything I have.
It's like the proverb goes..."Anticipation of death is worse than death itself."

Hey, Wolf, if you need a place to get away from the craziness, come on over to the west coast and soak up some rays!

Good luck brother.

Or, you can come North, and Macallan and I can show you how to bird hunt!!! :soldier:

I'm gonna dig a big hole and crawl into it.

This house has been here since 1956. There've been plenty of hurricanes through here over the years and the house is still here. That's why I'm not too worried about this one.

That baby is going to make landfall right over my condo in Sanibel

Is the real Sanibel anything like the Sanibel in the Doc Ford books?

Prayers sent your way buddy. If you need anything don't hesitate to ask :)

Thanks man...I'll let you know. I'm sure I'll need some Anejos or something to help me get through the stress of the aftermath.

Geez...I didn't see that one coming

I may not be online much tomorrow, if at all. Power will probably go out sometime, and it may be several days before it's back on, so I don't know when I'll be on here again. I have a few phone numbers, so when I get a chance I will call someone to let you all know what's up.

Good night everyone!

Hope you fared ok WD.
I got relatives in Ft L. and they got smacked pretty good. But they are un injured so that is good.
