You know, DREW ESTATE Acid? Man, I never thought I would be a flavored cigar guy but those things are addictive! If another maker ever figures out their secret flavorings they'll get rich too. A Kuba Kuba with a good cup of coffee is pretty much Nirvana, and they have plenty of others to try. I really have to fight to not smoke one every day - I rotate them along with regulars (5 Vegas of different kinds and Cu-Avano Intensos at the moment). I have to tell you, once you get started on these (if you like them, that is) regular cigars that you thought were okay before start to seem kind of....ordinary. A friend brought me a Kuba Kuba once, and I had already tried a few Natural Roots, so I bought a box of Kuba Kuba, then I think I bought another box later, then just drifted away from Acid for a year or so. Suddenly, I pick up an Acid sampler and it's old home week! I just got through ordering another sampler deal with six different kinds of their large-ring offerings. They're not cheap, but if you try you can find samplers and specials at about $4/stick or a tad less. A box of 24 Kuba Kuba is about $5/stick online and $6.50 in a store. Okay, even $6.50 is not anywhere near premium cigar prices, and the facts are that the great allure in the Acid line is the flavorings, which are on the wrapper as well as in the cigar, rather than super premium tobaccos. I freely admit that I wouldn't buy another one without the flavoring, because standing on the tobacco alone they couldn't get more than $2 for them. Even so, they are well made and typically have nice wrappers, no burn problems and a nice easy draw. They also make non-flavored cigars such as the Chateau Real which is a very nice mild/medium 7x50 well-suited for indoor smoking and which stands on its own merits very well without the flavorings. I haven't priced these - there were some in a sampler, and I smoked one in a country club's men's grill the other week while watching some football. Very good taste and aroma. Whatever, I hope I get through this phase before too much longer!

Inland44 - take a look at cigarbid.com. They usually will have good deals on Acid Kuba Kubas and some other samplers. I think you will be able to get them for about $20 delivered for a 5 pack if you are patient!

JR Cigar was running a special last week, if you bought a box of almost anything in the ACID line you had the option to pay another $5 and get an ACID sampler tin (14 Cigars) and an additional 5 KUBA KUBA's

The only Acid that I've smoked is the Blondie. I had one a few years ago and didn't like it. While out of town last year, I decided to try another one. Still couldn't bring myself to like it. I would consider trying another Acid, just not the Blondie. And speaking of Drew Estate, I do like the coffee infused line. I always try to keep a few on hand.

I never got hooked on Acid; but I have had some fun.....

Oh, cigars; never mind.

you may visit 2000cigars.com and you'll find a great selection of acid cigars...I've smoked some of them...actually I'm not a fan of these cigars, but they are good.

Good is a relative term, good compaird to what, DOG$hit?

they are very different from any cigar...I think the flavored/infused cigars are great for getting new people sucked into this hobby but for some one who has been smoking for a while I don't think they will like them.

I tried a sampler of a line called Nitro. Couldn't wait to get them out of the humidor and never will put another in- absolute perversion of cigars and what really worries me is what they put in them.
