Enjoying Life!
Yesterday roaming around the store, hungry of course, I saw some Boars Head hot dogs in natural casing. I gotta tell you I fired up the grill toasted a couple buns threw on some ketsup, and tasted one of the best hot dogs I have had. I truly recomend them!!!

Hebrew Nationals are pretty good too. I love dog's. One of my favorite's. But ketsup on a dog. Seems almost unnatural.

Only kids and unsophisticated palates put ketchup on a hot dog! There are too many great mustards out there. (Another vote for the Hebrew National's too)

Ok, who puts ketchup on their eggs? I say there is NO room on the breakfast table for ketchup! (I'm now ducking in case the arrows start flying).

AGREED!!! No ketchup except for French Fries!
And why the crap do people put A1 on steak??? if you have a good steak, there is absolutly no better way to piss off the cook than to ask for A1!!!!

I still see myself as a kid :D . I hate mustard personaly. And yes when I eat an omlet I put ketsup and hot sauce on it!!!

If everyone had the same tastes there would be no need for menus. I put ketsup on my eggs, heck when I was a kid I used to have ketsup sandwiches (I outgrew that culinary delight). Mustard is yucky tasting it is for snobs.

I love that you just uses "yucky" and "snob" in the same sentence!

i must be a snob. i have 4 different types of mustard in my fridge right now. dejon, spicy brown, stadium, and regular old yellow. i love me some mustard.

Ha, I knew I'd get some responses to that one! I'm a mustard freak too. I usually have several different kinds on hand. I use it all the time for BBQ too, as a binder to hold my rubs on, etc.

Well at least it is noon somewhere

kuzi,,,, tell them how great that cleveland stadium mustard is!!!! Can't get it here in Indiana, but my daughter that still lives in Medina sends me some couple times a yr.

Oh yeah, hot dogs. A nice Sabrett either boiled until it rips or burned on the grill ...yum.

Of course on top - KETCHUP - must be Heinz. And yeah, cheese too.

Sue me.

+1 to that. The last time I had any was at a snowbound Browns game during the '79-80 season and it was great THEN. Went to the game with a buddy of mine from Mentor. Should be available over the Internet.

And nobody thought the Chris Walken bit was funny, at all? I can just hear his voice in my head as I read it…

I call BS--y'all ain't had a 'dog 'til you've had a Coney in Fort Wayne, Indiana--I've been known to down a half-dozen at a crack (hold the onions, please.)

Johnsonville cheddar-brots are pretty good too, IMO, and +1 on the mustards and "ketchup=NoGo"--I particularly won't use Heinz, but other brands are sometimes "tolerable" on fries (even there, I prefer A1, black pepper & vinegar myself).

:ek: Somebody had to go and pick on A1--them's fightin' words, pal... although I'll agree a truly great steak doesn't need anything.

Diamond,,,whats the name of that place. I think I saw it on Food network. Wanted to go then. Now you have my curiosity up.

One of 'em's Coney Island downtown, can't remember the other.

Just make sure in August you leave enough for me--if you don't, small dude or not, get stomped to a bloody pulp afterward or not, if I get screwed out of my fix while I'm back there and you're responsible I will see to it your butt's found lodged somewhere between your shoulder-blades...
