This is about smoking indoors due to bad weather. I have received fair performance from a Oreck Air 7 combined with an exhaust fan to get rid of smoke and cigar odors in my den/smoking area located on the second floor. Todays bad weather resulted in scores of complaints from my wife and even my two Golden Retrievers. The cats always hide anyway.
I need a better system to keep the room smelling nice. I love the dogs and they have the best sniffers. System needs to eliminate smoke and odor. Room is 4,500 cubic feet. 27x21x8.
Who has the best system?
Malone

it will be a week before i can get the name but the system my local shop uses is incredible. I will work on getting it for you.

Malone, I think the best bet is an ozone purifier. My good friend has a small 1500sq ft model manufactured by Csonka, and it seems to work in his office. They also make a larger one (5000 sq ft) priced around 219.00. But with ozone, sometimes they let off a slight odor similar to bleach. His Csonka doesn't, but some ozones do. Hope this helps! Ryan

Hang on & I'll find out what my friend uses - he has a small place and it never smell bad!
He is a heavy smoker as well!

Personally I use a vent that removes the smoke - straight fan piped outside - I use an Ionic breeze for the smell -
it works good for smell but does nothing for smoke.
Let me make a phone call!

The Ionic Breeze Quadra by The Sharper Image. Expensive, but worth it. I've smoked hundreds of cigars in my basement, which has only a seven foot ceiling, not to mention smoking thousands of the "special ingredient" from That 70's Show. When you walk downstairs to my den, you can't tell that anything was ever smoked there.
