I see that there are some pretty interesting usernames on here. How did you decide on yours?

When I first signed on to the Forum, I used my real name, Greg. But then must have clicked on the "I am only 13" thing because I was denied access and was told I needed to get a signed from my parents! My Parents? Geez, I'm 50 years old already! So I decided on Walker, mainly because I couldn't use my real name, and since I'm a postman, I DO walk a lot.

How 'bout you?

Mine was real easy to come up with to. Everyone where I work calls me that. It is because I manage and operate a asphalt plant.

16 is my lucky number. Wore it when i used to play soccer. Never had a losing season with it on my back.

"kuzi" is my nickname in high school.

its pronounced like "Uzi" (the gun) but with a k in front of it.

it comes from my last name Kuz____i

Well the first part is my first name and the second part is a way to pronouced the intial for my last name.

It was also my handle for a nascar racing game I used to play.

I'd been lurking at this forum for a while and around the same time I was sitting outside reading and smoking a cigar when my g/f took a surprise picture of me. All you could really see was a cigar, tons of smoke and my arms outstretched holding a book. For some reason when prompted to pick a username that image came to mind and I picked Cloudy. Wish I had the pic to show but she deleted it from her camera a while ago.

Had just finished playing golf with my usual Sat morning group and showed such a knack for two putting from anywhere on the green--50 feet to 3 feet--that I picked up a new nickname. Hopefully it won't stick because I hate missing 3 foot putts.

Gun Store Nickname

When I worked at a gun store here in the Valley, we had two Mikes on the payroll, both of us part time. Also, we were both Navy, one active, one retired.

The other Mike was not physically as large as I am. His nickname was attitude, not altitude, related. It was our assessment of his military potential. He was then, and is now, in the service of our country. Don't know where he is. Please say a prayer for Mean Mike and his family.

It was a handle that I used on different aquarium boards that I used to go to alot. (Sadly I no longer have any aquariums left. The wife made me get rid of one and my mom pilphered the other one to make algae in her livingroom). I got it from my favorite band and just kinda made it my own.

I've been using this name for about 18 years now, since the good'ol BBS days. I was studying pre-med at the time, hence my handle was born.

I used to ride my mountain bike all year round, rain or sleet or snow or 40 below. Now I am just an old biker, but the name still fits.

Ancient and honorable CB handle, plus year of birth.

I was born in the first half of the last century. Never thought I'd live to have arthritus or survive prostate cancer.

But, 'round here I'm still a yuuth!

Geoff
Who knows it's all relative.

Mine is self explanatory ..... and I have had it since the 1980's and have used it on every forum I belong to.
