how much cedar

Here’s one for ya…

How much of a humidor needs to be lined with cedar? For instance, my desktop is 100% lined and most other top loading box humidors are as well. I have been tinkering with a design for a humidor that would be like a mini dresser but instead of sealing each drawer I would have a glass front door with a lock. Would having just the drawers made of Spanish cedar be ok or would I have to line the entire thing?

I have most of the design aspects worked out on paper and I have the tools. Soon it will be time to buy wood. If I have to line the entire thing ill have to go back to the drawing board and tweak my design. Any thoughts would be great.

i was hoping to use the best of both worlds. On both of these the drawer fronts behind the glass is not cedar. does anyone know if the walls on the interior are or if its just the tray. ?
