was wondering what others paid for their cigars, everyday smoke, and good smokes. how much a week? i currently spend about 75.00 a week on cigars, i smoke everything, but like to buy 6.00 cigars,hate 2.00 cigars and 10.00 to 12.00 is goin all out
First let me say hello as I am new to the Cigar world as well as this forum.
I have been smoking cigars fro a couple months and have been lucky enough to find a great shop near my home . . . the owner is very knowledgeable and has a walk-in humidor bigger than my bedroom. One thing he has said is that the price of the cigar should not be a major factor. A $50 turd is still a turn regardless of the price.
Currently when I go to his shop I have been sampling cigars from $4 to $12 although he has cigars for much higher. One of the best lately was a Bahia Trinidad Torpedo ($7.50).
For me price is secondary when selecting a cigar. What I spend on cigars is generally controlled more by what is currently in my wallet and the wife . . . more so with the wife

I try to start my day with a Don Carlos #3 @$7.25 retail , I get them by the box wholesale so it is a little less , I get a box a month on average, my afternoon smoke is a 8.5 X 52 Flor de Japala Maduro, @ $6.00 retail per stick , again I get them cheep, whats the use of having friends in the cigar trade if you dont take advantage of it. , in the evenings or when I go out it could be all most anything from a Cuban monte #2 to a Diamond crown or an Opus X, & maybe a Marsh Wheeling ! , I smoke what I want going by the taste I am after, I dont worry about the cost of it, afterall it is for ME, & I only get one time around in this body so why should I skimp on my self or others , I some for the taste as well as drink, I enjoy a fine cup of coffee as much as a 21 year old single malt scotch whisky , Live life to the fullest !
