Hygrometer needed?

I got my 300 count today EARLY even SMELLS great. I have the cigar oasis plus on the way. If I am using the oasis do I need a hygrometer to? If so I need guidance again. I have looked but they are many and varied. I want one ( If I need it) that works and is reliable.

Yes you want a Hygor. Just go to the hardwere store and get a remote weather staiton. Radio Shack has them pretty cheep. Salt test it and away you go.

Trav, I use a Flukers. It is for terrariums, and so has to be pretty accurate. They are a little more expensive, but very accurate, and you can turn off the display to save the battery.

I got it at PetSmart, but I am sure any pet store will have them.

The remote thing is a good idea if you can get one small enough, all my Radio Shack carrys is the huge ones.

Well if I did the test right it is reading 4% low.

Perfectly normal. It showed 71% right. Just mark the Hygro so you know

For what it's worth, I have 3 of the Western Humidor Caliber III digital hygrometers. Each of them were perfectly accurate when I tested them. I've yet to hear a bad word about them. They go for about $20 a pop.
