Well, I've done it. I'm finally graduating! I took my last final last night. A 45 minute drive (one way) to take a 5 minute test. It has been a long time comming. I started in 1999, but I ended up working and going to school part time.
Just called to verify that there are no problems. I'm good to go.

Oh, did I mention that I'm graduating. :D

Sam,

Way to go. Once upon a time, I was a student (I know, I know, most of you are waiting for the plug, but this is about sam). I left college to go to work. Eventually, I was faced with the decision of going back. At the time, being a husband and father, going back to school and working at the same time was a big decision, but I went back to school and worked. You pulled off something that takes a special breed. I didn't pull it off, but I suppose I might be able to pull it off being older and more mature now, but I'm not sitting in class while posting this, so I send out a heartfelt way to go to you my friend. You did it. Way to go!!

I'm thinking about celebrating with a Gurkha Centurion that I've had sitting in the humi for a year. I'm going to wait till I have the paper in hand. I don't trust the administration, been screwed several times by them. But I know I've got all my t's dotted and i's crossed this time. :D

Congratulations,

Sam is graduating, and Chris is starting back

Way to go guys

Congrats, Sam! Excellent accomplishment! Enjoy the smoke, brother!

Thanks guys. It was not easy to go back after being married for 3 years and with a kid on the way. I guess I just needed a little motivation to get me back in school.

Its a BA in History. The funny thing is I'm taking a semester off and then going back to get some computer programing classes. Now I have a degree that will only be useful as a decoration. Oh well. I guess it's a good thing that I have a very supportive wife.

Thanks again guys.

Hey Sam - Congratulations!! That's great news. Hope you enjoyed the celebratory cigar. That's a special moment.
