I just can't get over it. Those Indios Puros Especial that I got on the Friday deal about a month ago are fantastic. I mean I am a Maduro guy for sure. I really love the rich sweet full flavor of the aged and Maduro cigars. I just spent the last 45 minutes in heaven. The burn is slow and even. The aroma is kinda sweet with a rich leather over tone. The taste of the cigar itself, in your mouth is that perfect taste between apple twig and oak. The smoke is rich but not thick. It doesn't overpower you at any point. Yet it isn't lacking, seems to be just right. I keep these in my humi at 68% rh which may be high for some but perfect for this one. Man, I am very impressed by these cigars. It's raining and about 63* out so sitting outside on the porch is very comfortable. I wonder if the high humidity when it's raining adds to the experience, I dunno. What a great deal these were, I'm glad I got 2 boxes. :D
 
If you like the Puros Indios, then maybe you should try to set up a meeting with The Puros Indios Chief (18x60). :cryinlaugh: :cryinlaugh: :rotflmao: :pumpkin: :pumpkin: :cryinlaugh:
 
I always get the Idios Puros Backward. I dunno why. That sounds like a great idea, cept 60 is a bit bigger than I like in a ring size....... :wink: :shock: :roll: :oops: 8)
 
Well then, I guess that 18 inches is just the right length. Maybe we can ask Mr. Svenson to give them a call and have them make an 18x48 just for you. I'd love to see the video of you smoking it. I sent a Puros Indios Chief that Michaelsean sent me several years ago, on to Cee Dubya, on the promise that he would videotape himself smoking the WHOLE thing, and make the video available for folks on whatever cigar related web site he was hanging at to watch. I'm still waiting.

not sure if it was the same guy and it might have been on this forum, but I've seen pics of a guy smoking a Chief while playing poker.
 
If it's the same Cee Dubya that's a member of the HCF, that's him. I'll have to e-mail him and ask him to send me pictures. :mrgreen:
 
Well Bloof, I really want to be your friend. Nice little toy you got there. Geezzzz. :m16: I am a Shotgun guy myself. :bolt: I have a Rem 52 lever action short barrel :dunno: , 11-57 12g, 870 pump wingmaster 20g. But that deal looks a bit serious :shock: Now back to the Puros Indios, I would love to sample the Chief. I could set aside a couple hours and a new can of fuel. I can take pics or record it on my cam. For the good of the Forum ya know! :p
 
Ya know, I read the post from Alex and then your's, I got mixed up. If you check the post under "Advice needed, Opinions welcome" you'll see why I was talking about toys. Geeeezzzzzz I think I'm going nuts or something................ :oops:

As for the Puros Indios Chief, you'll need a heck of a lot more than "a couple hours" to smoke that thing. That's easily a five hour smoke, even for a fast smoker on a breezy day on the links. And that's if it doesn't go out at any point. We're talking a Sunday in the fall, light it up at the kickoff of the first game, and by the time dinner's on the table when the second game ends, you should be finished by then.
