Misa & I are heading out to the Meadow Lands to see the Jets play.
This will be her first live game ever.
It took awhile to explain this isn't soccer & yet we call it football.
I hope it is not to bad of a game (like the last 5 weeks)
First we are heading to the outlet stores to gear her up in Green and White!
J E T S Jets Jets Jets!

Damn.. thats a horrible record...Itll be an interesting game.

Forget the Jets

GOOOOOO EDMONTON - YOU CAN DO IIIIIIIIIIIIITTTT

Edmonton is the team my NY Rangers are going to beat on Jan 12

I guess 5 FG's was asking too much of Nugent...at least they finally scored a touchdown again

Man, I can't help but feel bad for Herman Edwards...but maybe that's just because my brother goes to Cal :dunno:

The Saints win the Toilet Bowl, outlasting the Cessnas. I guess the official trophy is a roll of premium Charmin dipped in bronze. Maybe dipped in something else. Curtis Martin winding down a brilliant career on a team that on it's greatest day was "always a bridesman but never a bride," and now earns it's distinction by playing in the annual Toilet Bowl.

Can you catch any of the games out there? I finally got a dvd recorder - be happy to send some out your way as soon as I pick up some discs. This has been a fun season so far.

CC, I was at the game last night too. Section 109, row 7. Holy crap! Hey Ref, can we get Coles TD back?? This was the best game they played all year.

Maybe we can beat the Pats next week! or even better, Oakland on the 11th!!!!

USMC 6672,
Maybe if you play as QB for the Jets you too can throw the long ball on my awful Pats secondary. They are easily the worst secondary in the league. No one is even close. How does anyone let Gus Ferotte throw 360 yards on them? :dunno:

Also, how is it that the league lets two division rivals not meet each other until december, and then has them play twice in the same month. Something smells fishy with that one.

DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was in sec 122 Row 10!
We were close I wish I'd know I had my humidor in the car!

That replay that took the TD away was BS

2 feet in the ENd Zone 2 steps - what more is needed????

yeah, with two feet in and even when Coles elbow hit the ground, he still had control of the ball.

Funny how Shokey's TD counted.

The Jets fought hard, so you can't really be mad. Nugent hit is longest FG of the year, 45 yards earlier in the game, so the 53 was a long shot! Bollinger had his longest completion of the year to McCareins. McCareins had his first TD of the year, on the same drive. Doug Jolley had his best game in the Jets uniform (Hey Calibus, we want Jordan back!). Cotchery had a great game, and Martin had another milestone, becoming the 4th RB in history to rush for 14,000 yards. Oh well, maybe next year.

As I type this, I can remember when the Rangers won the Stanley cup, and a guy in the crowd held up a sign that read "Now I can die in peace!" I might have to get my sign ready!!!!!!

Good guess Axe, but I was referring to that great Canadian tradition the Grey Cup. Edmonton vs. Montreal, the Eskimoes won in overime, and it was an EXCELLENT ball game. Football is now over in Canada for another year.

But as for that Edmonton/NY game would you like to bet a 5 pack on it. If I win you send me a 5 pack of something interesting, and if I win you get 5 (inexpensive) "Canadian" cigars.

What do you say?

That was pretty cool huh? I bet when he comes down from the high of winning, he is going to be REAL sore. They were hitting him waaaaayyyyyy to hard!!

You are awesome bro!!

I've been fortunate enough to be able to go over Joe's house to watch Sunday games, but I've been exhausted from class and haven't been over as much. Plus I may have a job on sauté at a country club lined up so I'll probably be missing some great games.

Thank You...and how 'bout dem Rangers! :D

Normally I don't like to bet on my teams, but Jagr is making me real happy this year. But you're confusing me with the "inexpensive Canadian cigars"...Which cigars are not overpriced up there
