My COTM package arrived totally folded, spindled and mutilated, Cigar.com replaced it pronto, thanks guys. Funny thing, 2 of the sticks were missing, one of which was the Macanoodle, hope Mr., Crushum enjoyed it. Anyway, I figured I’d try to smoke the Punch, It was pretty mangled and I got about 1/5 done before it fell totally apart and I herked it. So….I know I’ve got thru some pretty banged up stogies utilizing the four finger method of holding things together as well as licken, sticken etc. I figured it might be interesting to hear how some of you guys get thru a damaged or unruly smoke that’s messed up but just too good not to try and save.

Or, if I'm not close by the "pec", I try to salvage the cigar however I can, usually by licking the wrapper and folding it back down! (get your mind out of the gutter, Colonel)! 8)

All depends on the cigar. Many would be chucked...but if the mission was to smoke it as far as possible, then I would 4 finger and pray I suppose.
