I am actually okay with it, Phish.

At first, I was pissed. Then as I took a step back, I realized that:

1. 11 years is a long time to be with one school
2. When an NFL offer comes to you, you gotta grab it.
3. In the long term this could be what we needed
4. We may retain most of our commits and if we do, we may not be bad in the short run either.

I loved the guy for what he did to elevate the program and his recruiting was FANTASTIC based on our history. But when it came to game day coaching, he was subpar.

It will be interesting to see how Schiano pans out in the NFL with recruiting not being a factor.
