Has anyone ever tried any of these?

The only shop close to me with any selection at all (mostly Fuente, CAO, and RyJ) has several boxes of these in various sizes. They are relatively inexpensive but I have not seen anyone mention them and have been reluctant to spend my gas money on some sticks I know nothing about.

Oh go ahead; you know you want to!!!

OK, I've had them, early in my cigar smoking days. And yes, the primary reason was because they were inexpensive. I remember them being well made, but I can't recall they're exact taste. I know they're Honduran, so they should be rather full bodied. I may have to pick another one up to revive my memory.

I recall them being in the $2 - $3 a stick range.

of course tim has tried them.... he is the king of frugalness (self proclaimed even). But don't let him fool you, he prob still smokes them all the time :D

Someone will give him a cuban and the look on his face will remind you of a kid on christmas. Guess thats from smoking dog rockets everyday

Please only take offense if your name is tim, aka tiny tim.

to keep from recieving a beat down i will be bringing a handfull of my finest sticks under $1 to the sit down for tim.

I can relate to the need for frugalness ... I bought 5 sticks last weekend and had to think about it ... could almost have gotten a half tank of gas for what I paid ... aww heck, who needs to go to work when you could stay home and smoke a good cigar ... or a few inexpensive ones.

I think you're right TT, they were around $3. Next time I have enough gas to drive the 25 miles RT, I may pick up a couple to try.

From the looks of your avatar, I'd stay home and smoke cigars with HER!!! :wine:

i have been practing total frugalness for the past 2-3 months. Luckily i had enough to keep me going for a long time since i haven't been able to buy any for a while now.

Wouldn't we all, Tiny Tim (well maybe most of us) ... unfortunately she ain't at my house ... just some bait I was using to see if I could get to Bloofer ... guess he's busy policing and hasn't noticed

Bildo, dude, cigars should count as some sort of college supplies ... along with books and all that other stuff ... maybe research material or something

hmm they do apply as study materials, since i frequently smoke while studying! Now how to describe that in a way that makes sense to my mom and grandpa?

Maybe you could give us a hint on where she IS? And whether she accepts Visa or MasterCard?

This same shop had some of those Juan Lopez sticks that someone was looking for last week I think.

Never hurts to ask ... somewhere on that list of school supplies is Fine Cigars

:fineprint:

If you can pass them off as school supplies then why not consider them some sort of tax deduction.
