on the grass
the wedding went smooth.
the family didnt explode on eachother.
the food was great.
the cigars were great.

one major problem.
for the last few years (even before i proposed) we had planned to have wedding cupcakes. Not just any cupcakes, mini wedding cakes. each person would get one cupcake sized wedding cake with three layers and a flower on each one.
the baker delivered the cakes on the wrong day to the wrong party. A bunch of snot nosed teens ate our wedding cakes. I wasnt too happy and made that clear to the baker. he gave me double my money in credit.

...would rather have had my wedding cake.

What good is credit? Do you plan on getting married again. I say have him give you your money back and pay you for the inconvenince. That sucks. If that was my wife we would have not got married and I would have had to spring her from Jail after beating the baker to near death. She wanted things perfect. Not demanding a lot, but wanted everything done right.

Oh yeah, congratulations. I'm glad you enjoyed the wedding.

I agree with phish. What good will the credit do? I would demand cash back, as it spoiled your wedding.

Congrats Kuzi. :wine:

Bummer about the cakes. That was really stupid on their part. How do you mistake a bunch of teens for a wedding party? They should pay, big time.

My wife would have boiled them in her cauldron ...

Congratulations, Kuzi!!! :wine:

Too bad about the cake problem, but it sounds like everything else went well. I'd focus on that. It could have been a lot worse.

Cograts kuzi. Bummer dude about the cake. I would demand my money back. If he tell's you no, go to Judge Judy. My wife watches her everyday, and I sit through it. I do know that she has a dislike for any one who messes up a wedding. I think in Ohio the max for small claims is 5,000. Give the judge a sob story with the wife crying gently in the background. Slam dunk. Stick a fork in his cake,,,,he's done.

I would demand he go with you to your local cigar shop and purchase you whatever you want with that double credit.

Congrats! And sorry about the cakes. I'd be pi$$ed...

I love cupcakes BTW, no need for forks!

i do like your idea but i dont the woman would....

we didnt pay for it and we get credit.

Sorry about the cake incident kuzi! I just got married on 9/2 and everything went smoothly for us as well except our cake. The lady had our wedding scheduled for the next weekend even though my wife contacted her 5 days prior to the wedding to confirm everything. Needless to say we ended up with cakes from the grocery store. The bartender and caterer were good tho and that was all I was concerned with anyways.

Sorry to hear about the cake situation. Phish is right. You should get a full refund.

I went to a Bachelor/Bachelorette party were groom and the bride to be and the best man got arrested. Now, that was a fun night.

Christine and I had a similar event. Trust me, if the cops know what we were doing that night we would have got arrested. Just think of the movie bachelor party and lose the mule.

out of all the things to screw up i guess the cake wasnt too bad.

everything else was awesome.

Congratulations on the marriage kuzi, good luck and best wishes. I don't know what my wife would have done if our cake was messed up. Thankfully all that happened on our wedding day was the DJ didn't show. We found out later that he had skipped town because he had a warrant out for his arrest.
