Moved to Hollywood!

Hello Everybody!

How has everyone been? I have been really busy and actually made a move across the country, I now reside in Hollywood CA, I'll have to change my location...I am still from Chi though!

It is going to be a lot different trying to smoke cigars out here, but at least I have two balconies to smoke off of!!

Sorry for my abscense...I will try to post more again, I know, you didn't even realize I was gone :cry: :wink:

What part of Hollywood are you at?

I'm directly south of you! 20-minute or 2-hour drive depending on traffic.
 
What the hell?!?!?! You still gonna make it to the Big Smoke in Chicago? What about my sit-down!?!?!
 
I will definitely be in town next Monday throgh Wednesday for the Big Smoke.....I am going to try hard for the sit-down!! :D

I am about 6500 West, about a block off of Hollywood blvd...

Crazy part of town from what I hear, but I needed that coming from Chicago...

This was not my choice actually, but the girl who will hopefully, soon be my Fiance moved here with her job, it was an offer she really had to take for her career (She works for a publishing company who has magazines all over the Country, CS in Chicago, Angelino in LA, plus some in DC, San Diego, Hawaii...all over the place), and I figured: When else am I going to have the chance to move out West? Plus I can explore the cigar world of Vegas frequently and try to see what elase I can find....

I don't know how they will take to my kind out here, as a cigar smoker I think I will be shunned!!

I'm in Oceanside now. About an hour and a half south of you.

I'm planning a Vegas trip in July so you won't have to wait long!
 
I was wondering where you went. I figured you were just busy with the advocate site. Anyways, good to have you back.
 
Wow...big change of scenery there Thor. Hope it works out for you. Actually I think there is quite a cigar community in the Independent Republic of California. It may take a little time to get yourself hooked up though. Are you still working with cigar.com?
 
I was wondering where you've been. Glad to hear that all is well. Enjoy the sunshine out there. Make sure you piss off the local with the smoke. :twisted:
 
Califas. Right on. I grew up in Hollywood. Well, a different Hollywood. "Barrio Hollywood" in Tucson. Represent!

I hope you can make it to the Vegas Sitdown.
 
Good to hear from you Thor!! Hollywood will definately give you a different breed of "Freeks" and sights! They are a little hard on the smokers out there, but I'm sure you are resourcefull enough to get by!
 
Thanks Everyone, I will definitely make the Vegas sit down and anything else that I can!

It is MUCH different than Chicago, but a little change and new scenery is always good...

And yes, I am still with Cigar.com and have been pretty busy with the Advocate site...So much to do all the time! :wink:

At least I have quite the collection of cigar butts lining up on my balcony...It is the only place I have smoked a cigar here since I moved...I'll have to pay a visit to the Grand Havana Room and try to swindle my way in again...Always worth a shot

I don't have press credentials nor a uniform, but I make the satellites that everyone's tele/cell-phone uses! :D
