I've been absent from the forum for the last week because my 1 month old has been in the hospital all this time. Last week he started throwing up and stopped pooping. He's been poked and prodded for 5 days now and we still aren't sure whats wrong.
Hopefully things will be back to normal soon. I can't wait to get home and smoke a cigar in celebration. I can just feel that everything is going to be OK and I think that will be one of the best cigars I've ever had.

Thinking positive!

Hope all turns out well! I scared my parents pretty badly when I was only 3 days old. I stopped eating and peeing/pooping. Turns out the entrance from my stomach to my intestines closed up somehow. So, I was literally full! They had to pump my stomach out and then go in and open it back up. I was so dehydrated that the only place they could find a vein was in my head. Heh - I still have the scar on my stomach 29 years later and, despite what others might say, I turned out just fine!

I'll keep your child in my thoughts.

I normally don't write anything in threads like this even though my thoughts are always with everyone. In this case I have to say let me know if there is anything I can do. Children are a wonderful thing and must always be cherished.

Very sorry to hear that. I'm with the rest of the guy's. Anything I can do, just ask.

Trent,
I'm very sorry to hear the bad news. Your son and your family will be in my prayers. Good li=uck and God bless.

My family's prayers and positive thoughts are headed your way, brother.

I will be praying for you Trent. Please take care brother.

Sorry to hear about your son brother.
I will be praying for him. It is so hard when a child is hurt or sick.
Please let us know if you and your family need anything.

Thanks everyone. We're still at the hospital but hopefully we can go home tomorrow. Unfortunately... or fortunately, not sure which, they really haven't found anything seriously wrong. He is still working through some eating problems but is getting better at keeping things down.

I really appreciate all the thoughts and concerns.

I will keep him in my prayers, Trent. I am sure he will be happy to get home. Let us know if there is anything we can do.

Home sweet Home has never felt so good. The boy is doing much better and Mom and Dad are going to try and catch up on their rest. Later today, probably after lunch I'm thinking of a Short Story and then after dinner..... maybe an Opus X or a 100 Anos or an Ashton VSG. All I know is it's going to be something special that I've been dying to try.

Thanks again everyone!!
