My wife is the coolest. For my birthday gift on monday she got me the cusano 18 humidor gift box. 36... well 35 now cusano 18's. Life couldn't get any better.

I just bought a digital hydro too. I should have got one long ago cause my analog is a piece of S@#$. Thinking about switching to beads too

I've been considering the switch to beads too.
They usually come in a big bag or something right?

Anybody have some to "spare" for a brotha??

Cusano Humidor?! Where in CO are you again?

Happy BDay!

Go with the cat litter. I have some training right now. I have a ton of the stuff. if you need it shoot me a PM and you can have some. But they also sell it at Petsmart. just make sure to get the Pearl Fresh and not the Crystals

Ive been thinking the same thing. After my move is over maybe you and I can split a bunch. I Think they come in 1lb and 1/2 lb bags. I dont need this many and it seems that neither do you. Im sure we can work something out sooner or later.

Nice! Aurora is a nice area - my parents live in Littleton and my Dad and brother work in the Tech Center.

Nice. If you ever come to visit them, we'll have to burn one or two or three. Who knows how many :p

I bought an eight pound jug of the cat crystals. I'll never use that many. If you're interested, shoot me a PM, and I should be able to hook you up. They are un"trained", so they take a little work before they start making their magic, but they sure do work well.

I'm also thinking about going to the beads. The question I have is, once the beads are in, do you still need the humidification device inside or can you remove it?

The beads act as the humidification device. Some people leave the beads in with a Cigar Oasis; In this case, the beads are helping to even out RH fluctuations created by the Oasis (and the Oasis keeps the beads "charged"). If you use them on their own, you just have to add water somehow from time to time. Most people seem to spray water directly on the beads; I have found that a wet sponge placed near them works very well.

If you decide to go the cat litter route, you save a ton of money, but you have to put out a little work training the beads before they are ready to use.

Soupwell, thanks alot for the info. I'll probably just leave the humidifer in to keep the beads charged. Heartfeltindustries.com is temporarily out of the 65% beads I want, but I'll get them as soon as they come in. Thanks again.
