Hey everybody. Great posts, I love reading them. I have had some thoughts and ideas after seeing what some people have said they like to do when they smoke cigars. I am trying to do some R & D If you could answer the following for me I would appreciate it:

1. Do you drink coffee?
2. Do you drink coffee when you smoke cigars?
3. How closely do you relate coffee to cigars?
4. If your retialer/ internet cigar dealer sold coffee along with cigars would you buy coffee from him as well?
5. Would you like recieving a coffee and cigar gift basket combo for the holidays?
6. Would you be interested in a coffee of the month club?

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Looks to me like I was right about Mr. Svenson's idea. It's a good one. Coffee and cigars are a natural. Sooner or later, coffee drinkers figure out how great it goes with a cigar, so to put them together in the commercial realm is a powerful selling point. It also gives way to an atmosphere that is unmatched for uniqueness and overall ambiance.

Hard core, TRUE coffee drinkers and TRUE cigar smokers are a subculture that because of the vast and intriguing nature of how beans and tobacco are grown, processed and brought to market, makes for never ending interest and discussion.

Although I got into cigars during "The Boom" I had harbored a lifelong curiosity. Unlike "the posers," mostly yuppies and Hollywood types who have long since given up because they weren't really into it, or killed themselves chain smoking Churchills, it has remained a part of my life and who I am. The same goes for coffee. Prior to the summer of '91, I always thought coffee was Taster's Choice and Folger's. From the tree in front of my father's house down on the farm in Puerto Rico, I knew how coffee was grown, processed and brought to market, but I had no idea that there was such a difference.

When I discovered real coffee quite by accident late in the summer of '91, I became deeply interested and never looked back. The same with cigars. My best wishes and hopes for Mr. Svenson's great idea to bring him further success. :pumpkin:

A lot of the cigar producing nations also produce great coffee. If you have not yet responded, please still do as I want to compile as many opinions as possible.

I was always ho hum with coffee, usually only a morning guy occassionally but now it is by far my drink of choice with my cigar and I am learning about the different blends out there. Kind of fun.

Thanks again :cheerschug:
