NEW CAO VISION ANNOUNCED

Wow. I'm thinking these will not be cheap.
It's certainly nice to see a Dominican wrapper on a multi-country filler blend. I can't think of any others off the top of my head. All I can think of at the moment as far as Dominican wrapper cigars go is OpusX, 100 Anos, and Litto Gomez Diez- and if I remember right they're all 100% Dominican.

Zandor, you forgot Matasa 30th Anniversary and Victor Sinclair is doing one this year also.

The old Ramon Allones that General cigar made had a dominican wrapper with a multi country blend, but they dont make that cigar any more. Rumor has it that the new RA blend will debut this year and who knows... maybe another Dominican wrapper.

What is the E.T.A.? And when can we start ordering or pre-order them? I love all that is CAO this looks to be another major hit. All hail the tabacco GODS!!!

We started a waiting list today. No one will have details on price or delivery until July at the RTDA. If I were a betting man (which I am) I would say it will ship October/ November for the holidays. If you want to get in on the list call 800.357.9800

I was just going to post on this. The cigar sounds interesting but the box is just so over the top. I'm torn between the desire for one and the the feeling that its too flashy for such a relaxing lifestyle.

I smell another cigar "boom" coming on. I'll reserve comment for now.

 8) :sm_angel: :bolt:

That travel-humi they come in reminds me of a carnival ride. Weeeeeeeee.

Does it really have the blue flashy lights on it?

If those lights are really on that box, it will be front and center of the humidor!

Good promo advertisement.

I'd like to try a stick first before buying a box.

sorry it took so long to post a reply....

I had t o go change my shorts when I saw that neon box.

I have really enjoyed all the CAO sticks that I have tried, but I agree I would like to try one before I buy a box.

I've got to admit that I'm a sucker for packaging. I bought a box of the CAO Sopranos partly for the packaging (but not entirely).

Speaking of the Sopranos...how are they? I have one that the generous Kelvin sent me, but have not smoked it yet...just wondering what you guys think of it (and gal :) )

I think they're nothing short of great.

I smoked a pre-release I got from a local tobacconist last year sometime, and it was good. I don't remember much, the JW had clouded my vision.

The ones I've had were very good save for the last one which seemed to have been in a sickness period.

I agree, CAO is one of those companies who seem to release cigars every single year, sometimes I feel it is rushed....Italia for example...I haven't smoked on in a long time but that cigar was anything but good, maybe I'll light another up to see if it's changed...

The Vision is definitely flashy as Hell, but like Alex said, with a wrapper similar to the Cien Anos, I have high hopes for this one, with or without the Black light box!!
