Watching Eli smoke Robs cigars
Heres a the newest member of our small German Shepherd hobby kennel. His name is Kaleb vom Silbersee, 12 weeks in this pic. The little guy is a sable so his coat will change significantly over the next two years into a dark grey with red highlights. Full of pnv he's a welcome edition and a serious ankle shark...just as we like em
Both his ears came up today and I'll be celebrating them with a nice AF Hemi classic! :D

Beautiful! I love dogs....I only have two cats right now...only time in my life I don't have adog!

Cute!!

Now there is a beautiful little pup!! Congrats on the ears....It's such an event I imagine

Enjoy the pup and keep the pics up to date and enjoy the celebratory stick as well!

Man, I love pups. That was my favorite time with Big. But now, he is a fine tuned hunting machine. Good luck with the new pup Eli!

another good looking pooch there Steve, congrats!
(so, does Eli know you have a new smoking buddy?????)

Elidog, that is a beautiful pup.

CAPT, what breed of dog is BIG? I have a 7 month old Pointer/Lab mix that I'm training to hunt Upland game. The training is almost as fun as the hunting. But like I said ALMOST as fun.

He is an English Labrabor Retreiver (Black), Both parents/grandparents are either Senior or Master Hunting Champions. I'll dig up some picks and pm them to ya.

Eli, do you do Schutzhund training with your Shepherds??

Nice looking doggy there Steve, he is going to be a great looking dog when he grows up - he already has the "stance", imagine what he will be like when you finish training him.

The stance of a German shepard is just AWSOME. It was what I always liked about them. I have one, she is my first German shepard and they just naturally have that look that comands attention. Her name is Phoenix. Would love to get another one soon.

Good Luck with the new addition. He is Beautifull.

Nice dog bro. I won't live without a dog. The best doorbell in the world. I had to put a big boxer down last Oct. About killed me. Before Conan I had an English labrador{black} is there really any others. I had him for 10 yrs. I lost Wapner in a house fire. I wasn't there or he would of got out. Ironically, I always said he would walk through fire for me. When I got Conan he was 18 months old. No training really with him. So it has been almost 20 yrs. since I have had a pup.
Now I have Cooper another english bl. lab. Got him the day he turned 6 weeks. I waited for him for 3 months. His dad was a 95# show champ, his mom 90# reserve. He weigh's in at 96, and still growing.
Cooper will be 1 year old next month. The easiest trained dog I have ever had. I don't hunt, but live on a nice lake, and I have a training bird that he loves to fetch out of the water. He will point bird's and loves to sneak up on the geese and ducks that live here.
Love my lab.
Capt. I like your quote, my lab is smater than your honor student.
Know what you mean.

Brenda, I have four Shepherds. All of them spoiled rotten! lol! Well trained but spoiled buy five kids and my wife and I.

I put most of the training on them myself. My daughters and I do all the ring training on the two we show. The finishing work is done by a professional though.

I'll post some pics of this little guy as he grows the change in his coat color will be amazing. In the past two weeks he is already getting a deep black streak down his back.

Again thanks everyone!

I thought I'd update this to show y'all how much the little guy has changed!
