Hey guys, I don't know how many of you are familiar with Padilla cigars, but those of us who like the brand have reason to be excited! According to a knowledgable and reliable source over at the CA board, Padilla is coming out with two new lines:

"The first one is the most exiting because it has to be knock you freaking socks off good.
Its a very limited very cuban-esque tasting cigar made out of 100 percent cuban seed Corojo and Criollo tobaccos, it will also have a triple cap and the works. It will be called Miami blend 8-10, should retail for 10-12 bucks. They will be rolled in a small factory in miami. There should be a rating on these in July and the cigars will be launched in August at the RTDA show.

The next one is going to be a 100 percent nicaraquan made cigar made in conjuction with a very well know cigar maker who we all like for construction and taste (its not torano either). The cigars should retail for around 5.50 to 6.50."

I can't wait! Their Hybrids are good enough, I really want to see what they can do with Corojo/Criollo, two of my favorite leaves.

i have been really wanting to try the hybrid because i have seen so many good things about them. Maybe some day i will actually go buy some but its hard to stray from cigar.com and my local shop (neither sells them).

I would definately suggest getting one if you have the chance.

I would also suggest Cigar.com pick this line up if at all possible, they are wonderful cigars. The Hybrid is one of the few cigars that I can think of that is full bodied but appealing to those who typically smoke mild to medium, it really is a universally enjoyable smoke.
