New to the site, not new to cigars. I'm looking for suggestions and I thought I might run some potential selections by you.

First, here is what I like. I'm a big fan of the medium full to full flavor cigars. I like the larger ring guage and medium lenth. My standby, which I usually purchase by the box, is the Partagas Black Label Magnifico. I also enjoy the Spanish Rosado San Agustin.

I enjoy cigars before meals with martinis, after meals, alone with red wine or coffee, and while throwing the football with my boys.

Most recently I have tried;

- Arturo Fuente Anejo #55, absolutely loved it. I burned my fingers and lips smoking that baby down to the nub.

- Don Lino Africa, a good cigar, good flavor throughout, but not as flavorful as I like.

I usually stick to what I know and what I like but I feel I may be missing out on some really good cigars.

I'm thinking of purchasing a couple of samplers like the CAO Commemorativo sampler and the 90 Rated Sampler Pack to help.

Would anyone like to offer further suggestions?

Thanks.

sounds like your a perfect candidate for the Camacho Diploma, which is loved by a bunch of members of the board.

I just got that CAO commemortive sampler in today. It looks yummy!

Give the Excalibur 1066 Dark Knight II & III a try. Great cigars, lots of flavor. Both feature maduro wrappers.

Welcome to the site!!

I would also recommend the El Cobre and the 5 Vegas 'A,' I think you'd love these too.....

I second the dark knights but I must say, if you like the black label, you must try the 5 vegas series A. They are both amazing and cheap. I would pay twice what they sell for.

Definitely the 5 Vegas A. I started out smoking the Artisian, but recently switched to the Anomaly, which is a bit smaller. Everyone here is a fan of the Camacho Diploma. I had to smoke the Diploma at least 5 times before I could really appreciate the temperment of these cigars. By the way, welcome aboard!!

Cusano 18 Paired Maduro?

Waiting to try this beauty myself.

I have boxes of the 5 Vegas A and Partags Black. Humana humana mmmmmm! :)

He Humongo welcome to the forum, if you stick around here long enough you will become just as crazy as the rest of these guys - hey wait a minute, maybe that is why I fit in so well!

Those sampler packs are a greeeaaate idea, that is how i started on this madness, by getting the promo they had at CI in October, it was 10 cigars for 10 bucks. I ended up paying 24 bucks duty on them but it was still worth it.

Ejoy the madness!!

Diablo Picantes might be another, pretty full bodied, and spicy!

A) Don Lino Africa, let them sit, you'll be amazed. Trust me.

2) House brands are largely overlooked. JR Ultimates are incredible. Also, look for my review of the Sol Cubano 6X52 Sumatra. A fantastic smoke.

I'll second that. Just had one today and it was simply incredible. Loved every draw of it.

Speaking of house brands, be sure to try Cigar.coms! Their Cuban, Red, and Cameroon Labels are all good.

BPB, you read my mind. If you are a fan of a cameroon wrapped cigar, you just can't beat the Cigar.com Cameroon label!!

Partagas Black Label is great! Stick with that. You might want to try CAO MX2, HdM Excalibur Maduro, and Oliva "O" maduro!

:D :D :D :D :D

Oh yeah, the Oliva O Maduro...how could I forget?

That c18 Paired Maduro is great, I smoked one this past weekend.....wow...I'll be picking some of these up for sure.

OK you guys are going to trip. I may have gone a little overboard but what the hell.

Here's the order I just placed.

2 - 5 Vegas Series A
2 - Diablo Gran Fuego
1 - Arturo Fuente Anejo #55
1 - 90 Rated Sampler Pack
1 - CAO Commermorativo sampler
2 - Arturo Fuente Double Chateau Fuente Maduros
2 - Cusano 18 Paired Maduro Robusto

It's all your fault!!!

Thanks for the suggestions.

If that's "boxes" you just ordered, Christmas has indeed come early!!!!

Punch Gran Puro and Chu. Both nice full bodied large ring gauge. I would also STRONGLY suggest the Hoya de Nicaragua cigars. They have a nice full body and some cool sizes and shapes.
