Good day fellow cigar lovers. I am very glad to find this board ,as it will help me in my ongoing progression of cigar knowledge.
I'm a 5 year ex cigarette user .A year after quitting I began my cigar journey. Prior to that, I sporadically enjoyed a stick now and then. Sad to say I actually thought I smoked decent cigars bought in drug stores off of shelf,(that's right no humidor) uggh. The first time I puffed a quality smoke was a Partagas Cameroon #1. Ah,I then vowed never to smoke another tobacco product that wasn't hand rolled and properly stored. I recently retired after 26 yrs in fire dept.
I will look forward to using your collective expertise in asking questions that I otherwise would feel embarrassed to do face to face.

I smoke mostly Churchill's and Corona's. Natural to Colorado.
Sometimes a smooth Maduro for the rich tastes(any suggestions welcomed)
I also enjoy fine spirits with my cigar and any suggestions here would also be welcomed.

There I did it.
Thanks for future help and I wish all good smokes.

Welcome to the boards! Glad to see another Cigar lover made it. I'm sure you'll learn and share lots as you grow with us!

Welcome to the board, I'm a newbie on here myself, but everyone here seems to be true gentlemen. IMHO a good cigar & an aged port were made for each other :D

Best To You All!

It is really great to see all these newcomers and have such a good forum. So many of the forums I frequented in the past turned into a bad place to chat. People were not nice to newcomers and unless you had posted a lot no one cared what you had to say. I for one hope this will be a much different environment where people dont feel intimidated and no one is trying to proove they know more than the next guy.

I know I am not the only one who has run into this out there, lets make this forum different.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm, . . .

I think I spent three and a half years there.

Thanks for the welcome guys, and gals if so.
I appreciate the suggestions Bloofington.
To be truthful MaduroMan70, I enjoy a glass of whiskey mostly Canadian(Crown,Pendleton) or a great Bourbon(Makers Mark).
I'm glad we,re all friendly on here cause ....sshhh,come closer so I can whisper.....(I even have been known to put cola in my whiskey).
Recently though I have been having more glass's of Merlot now and then. Especially when cooking. Port seems to be too strong and overpowering of the smoke for my taste. Probably not good enough Port, but I cant afford some of the nice ones. Suggestions here will also be welcome.
Ok let me have it on the cola thing!

Nah, I won't let you have it :D
Heck, when I have a whiskey, I use club soda in it.

If you want a real chuckle, one of my favorite wineries is Fetzer. LOL

Peace,

Barry
