Late one evening a state trooper pulled over a car that was just barely moving down the highway. As he approached the car he saw that it was occupied by three little old nuns.
"Is there a problem Sister? Why are you driving so slow?" asked the trooper.
"I'm just obeying the posted speed limit, I always obey the signs!" said the nun as she gestured to the sign at the side of the road.
"That's not a speed limit sign, Sister. That's a route sign, this is route 17, the speed limit is 55 on this road." replied the trooper.
At this point the trooper noticed the other two nuns sitting in the front seat were beet red and gasping for air. "Are you ladies alright?" he asked.
Wide eyed one of the nuns gasped, "We just came off route 104."
