Oh yeah, right, I keep forgetting that last week, . . .

I had a great cigar I keep forgetting to tell you about. I was really in the mood for one, but didn't feel like anything that was going to taste too strong, with or without a kick. The number of light Connecticut shade wrapped cigars in my four desk top humidors is shrinking, but I decided to pick up one with one of those beautiful, but not a big name bands on it, the kind I usually bypass.

This one is called Bayamo, was 7 1/2 x 54 and smoked for one hour and twenty five minutes. Easy drawing, light and sweet, with occasional deep, rich creamy, earthy notes. Very surprising, as these no names usually are. Which goes to show that not only do the people who have sent me these cigars have good judgment in cigars, but they also have shown a lot of consideration for my taste in cigars with their gifts, and for this I truly thank all those people.

Bayamo - if you see it around, don't laugh. Give it a try.

Bloofie. Long time no hear. (not your fault, but mine) I tried the Bayamo. Not a bad cigar. A little too mild for me.

Yes, definitely too mild for an Old Cowhand from The Rio Grande. :D
