Opening Day

So... Monday marks the final Opening Day of my Beloved Yankee Stadium. I will of course be, in every bit of rowdy form that you can possible imagine, there as I am every year. At 1:05pm Monday afternoon, Yankee season begins. Is anyone else going to be there...? I will be there drinking and smoking as soon as the lots open. Will anyone else be there on this glorious day...? Weather wise, it's not looking too pretty, but I have faith. I believe that Monday will be a Gurkha Titan Day.

Well, unfortunately Opening Day was eventually rained out, of course after 2 after everyone parked, and already made it into the stadium. I have the luxury of not having to pay for parking so that made me a little happy. I never made it in, because I was at Stans already pounding down the Stella, so I had no reason to rush in. Either was the day wasn't a loss, got rowdy with everyone at the bar, went to dinner, and not for nothing, I wasn't at work so that makes for a great day no matter what. Made it in on Made it in on Tuesday for the Opener, and we got the W. As always, there's nothing like Opening Day at The Stadium, even though it was opening evening technically. Been to 4 games already, and really really looking forward to the upcoming series against Boston. I'll be there Wednesday & Thursday evening with Jim (laxjb1) from the boards here. Go Yankees
