Opinions on an old cigar

I'm sitting at my desk at work bored out of my mind so I figured I'd pick your guys brains for just a minute. I recently came into possession of a Fuente Dante from '90. I don't have much experience with aging over 10+ years, especially with DR cigars. I was 11 when they stopped making these so it goes without saying I've never smoked a Dante before. I don't know if they might benefit from some more age or if I should just spark it up now. I've heard that DR sticks peak out in the 5 to 7 year range??? Any opinions on Dante's or ageing a DR cigar long term would be much appreciated.

Can't say with that cigar - don't know it -
But if a cigar peaks in 5 - 7 years 10 years wont turn it into trash.

Smoke it - it should be very smooth.

The problem with aged smokes can be how they were kept.
If they were left dried out for awhile that will effect them greatly,
if they were kept to moist it can create a musty flavor -

I am sure when you smoke it you will taste the effect age has had on it & that is the best way to learn.

I'll also add some of the strongets cigars I have ever smoked were "old" and still kicked my butt!
