Hello Gents,

Last night I was browsing around CigarBid.com looking for a decent bargain smoke, and I had found a house brand of theirs called "Free Cuba". Have any of you tried these? and what is your honest opinion of them?

Thanks :D

Barry.

Are you talking about a flavored cigar made by Lars Tetens???

Nope, the link is below. They sounded good to me, so I made a bid for 1 bundle and I won it. They don't sound like dog rockets, at least I hope not!

I've never developed a taste for flavored cigars, I guess i'm a purist... LOL

Anyway here's the link Bloofington

My Best To You & Everyone!

OH BOY!!! Now I'm jealous. They look and sound great. I was thinking of the Kuba Kuba brand by Lars Tetens. Sorry, and my best to you and everyone else as well. Thanks for the tip.

Whoa whoa... what is this cigar bid deal? I have never seen this site before. :?:

Be careful. In all seriousness, I know people from a web site that I inhabited from the Spring of 2000 to the autumn of 2003 that literally became addicted to this site. Last I heard they had become somewhat "commercialized" but there were still tremendous bargains to be found. If you wind up playing cigarbid.com like a slot machine, don't worry, we'll be here to help you through those 12 steps. Don't say I didn't warn you, and whatever you do, . . .

DON'T bid the wife and kids. No box of cigars is worth it. :sm_angel:

Wife and kids

Oh, I dunno. I would have traded my first wife for a box of cigars. And I didn't even smoke then.

I guess I'm posting on this thread a little late, but I have first hand knowledge of these cigars. They're mild to medium at best in flavor and body. They're Nicaraguan, so that's what drew me to them in the first place. And, they're cheap! I'm a cheap bastage, you know. Their construction is so-so. You will probably find some flaws in the wrappers. They have a beautiful Connecticut shade wrapper, though. Overall, out of 10 points, I'd give them a 5. You can pick up a bundle on CBid for hardly anything. The normal price at Cigars International is 50 cigars for $50, so you're not gonna pay much either way.

Probably the best thing about the cigars is the band. It sports a busty young lady! Guys are drawn to "hooters", so if you hand these out to the "seldom cigar smoker", at least they'll have something to look at while they smoke!
