Ordering questions

Ok many people here said use cigar.com. I just got done trying to place an order but they want you to create an account. Why do companys do this? Why cant you just place an order without making an account?

Not sure I can answer that, Travis - but I would suggest you give them a call direct 1-800.357.9800 - I have dealt with Tim and Donny and they have been great. I always order through them directly now.
 
I have never had any problems with c.com they don't keep your cc# on file and you have to input it with each order
 
Travis, I have made several orders online through c.com and have never had a problem. My next order I will definitly be giving them a call. From what I hear in this forum, Donny and Tim will treat you right.
 
Give Tim or Donny a call. Creating an account just makes it a bit easier for your next order.

Pretty much what everybody else had said. Call Tim or Donny, and they will take care of you.

I personally don't like that feature, and wish there was an option to "delete" some of the orders. You know, like getting rid of the evidence... clearing your tracks... staying clean with the wife... :lol:

Exactly my reason for not wanting to make an account. My father was the victim identity theft. He has been dealing with this for over 20 years now. I do not want to have anything I do tracked. I have a ton of software on my computer to prevent this kind of thing. I have a special credit card I use on the Internet. As for the age thing I have ordered from a few cigar places online and have simply had to check a box that along with my CC info has always been enough.

I used to make online orders in the begining, but not any more. I just either call or email Tim. He has taken very good care of me. I am sure Donny would take care of me just as well, but I am not so sure about that Alex guy :wink:

The good part of the whole tracking thing is the ability for Tim, Donny, or the rest of the guys too give you free samples of cigars that you might like based on your past purchases. It is always nice to order a Don Pepin JJ and get a Miami Padilla or 5 Vegas "A" as a bonus stick. That is also the bonus of calling the guys to place your order.

Well I must say I have not heard one bad thing about them. I think I will place my next order with them. With everybody here backing them up they must be truly upstanding guys.
