I'm at the very north end of what I consider to be South Florida. Some people claim my area is the Treasure Coast, but I call it South Florida. Miami is about 3 or 3.5 hours south of me. 'Twould be cool if we could hook up for a smoke.
I really don't know much about the bar scene, actually. I'm a drink-at-home kinda guy mostly. As far as what I like to drink, I'm a big fan of rum, sometimes I'll have something with a little vodka in it, and of course beer. I'll try and do a little resrearch and try to find some cigar-friendly bars around here. Would you be willing to drive up here from Miami?
I usually don't know the bar scene either as they mostly drive me nuts. After several years of Arty I am a little bit deaf and any back round noise I have trouble hearing. I do have a favorite bar that if I hit a bar it is that one. it is a little hole in the wall in Snohomish. It has 80 different scotchs and a whole ton of good beer on tap. when I say a ton of beer I mean the whole counter has taps and not budwiser either.
As to driving down it really depends on how things go. I will be flying down to install a server and update any PCs. The last couple times it was 14-15 hour days and no break time. The last time I went 3 years ago I actually had a couple days at the end to relax. I guess what I am saying is I will have to play it by ear and I should know how everything is going by the second day. I plan on spending a week there. and if I have a free day that would be fine.
cool...sounds good man. I found what might be a cool place to meet in West Palm Beach. It's called Angelo & Maxie's and it's a steakhouse with a cigar lounge and bar. I'll try to get down there sometime soon to check it out firsthand.
By the way I recieved the cigars. Man those are some nice looking cigars. They small so nice, I can't wait to smoke them. It made my day after having a crappy one.
