Today I smoked the lonesdale that travis sent me a week or two ago. It was a good smoke. Cedar, and slight spice notes.

THe draw seemed a little hard but i think it was due to the way that i cut it. Im used to a punch cut and since this was a pig-tailed cap i wasnt quite sure how to cut it with my double blade. Usually i use the table top to know how far in to cut.
I guess what im trying to as is:

Is there a trick to cutting the pig tailed cigars that im over looking?

every time i try and cut one of these i seem to mess it up a bit and end with a hard draw.

Ok, it is a pretty hard cigar to cut,,,,

First hold cigar a bit firmly and pinch the pigtail,,

Second pull pigtail....

That should be it......

Or if you like to use your cutter cut the cap just below the pigtail.

wow. That does sound hard to cut. :D

I dont know how i didnt know this.

im gunna go practice that.
