I've smoked over 5,000 cigars in three years and my taste are- as I have expressed in earlier threads- most satisfied by the Pardron 2000/3000 line. The Fuma are too loose.I cannot afford Padron even though I love them- Yummy.I recently tried the Cusano P1 - 71/2 x50. They were $30.00 per 20 plus $10 shipping. A good price and I liked the smoke except amonia taste during the last half.
Might they be young? Should I have bought from cigar.com and paid $42 plus shipping and received a more aged product- no amonia? If amonia is in the last half- will cigar.com return the cigars or is amonia what one gets?
I'll pay the extra money if amonia free. The P1 has a great taste.
Is there an alternate?
I need help? Can't find the right cigar.Come on cigar.com. HELP

I assume you have a humidor. If you have a cigar that has recently been purchased, but giving you too much of an ammonia taste in a certain part of the cigar, it will be alleviated by anywhere from six months to two years of aging at 60-70% humidity levels. If that is the only thing preventing you from liking a certain cigar, always age it yourself for an extra six months or more. Try one or two more, then if they are not to your liking, you know they need even more age.

I have a couple thousand cigars here. Some contriband, most not. The youngest ones I light up are around a year old. Never had a problem.

I always have a few boxes of JR Ultimates here. They are aged at least one year BEFORE shipping. Excellent quality and price. There are dozens of frontmarks, and just as many flavor profiles.

Malone,

I have just the thing for you. They just came in and will be up on the site for sale this week. They are made for us by Christian Eiroa of Caribe and Camacho cigars. An exclusive for us. They are called Honduran Primeros. It is the least expensive cigar I have ever sold and the reason I dont typically sell inexpensive cigars is because I never have found one that I can stand behind... until now. They come in five sizes: robusto, toro, corona, chruchill, and double corona. They come in singles or in aging wheels of 50 cigars shrinked wrapped with a ribon. Each are hand rolled with a nice band and each come in cello. Honduran Puro.

Now for the real kicker of it all. If you buy a wheel of 50 at a time each cigar is just $1.00 each. Literally I mean each wheel of 50 reguardless of the size is $50.00

THat is why we call them primeros (meaning "first" in spanish) becuase at a dollar you may think you are paying for a second.

Malone I know you like padron and some of the darker nicaraguan wrappers. This baby sports a hanano wrapper making it a nice shade of colorado maduro. I think you would enjoy. I will repost on this thread on monday morning once I can get these babies online.

If these are the same things I got a sample of from my rep over there then that are good.
