I was just sitting outside took a nice montecristo seri VI i believe and i cut it lit it and it was going good but then before i knew my pleasure turned into a full time job of trying to keep it lit and very little smoke coming out this has also happend to me with a bolivar cigar i had and at first i thought it was becuase it was mabey over humidified but now im thinking mabey it was plugged (idk iv heard of this problem but never expericenced it before) any input on what my problem is please let me know thanx

They make a gadget to fix this problem, but I just use a nail to get the cigar "unplugged" and then it works just fine for me.

Depends?
Did you check the draw before yopu lite it?
I usually massage a cigar (around the area where the band is)
often (or for some reason) this is where you will find a plug.

If you can cut it off or poke a whole through the plug it can work
at times.

Also if you smoke to fast taht can cause a cigar to react funny.
Also getting it to wet can clog the smoke, just cut the end and see if that helps.

Not all cigars are perfect, hand rolled products even more so.
In the long run - they are worth the hassle - at least to me.
I always check a cigar before lighting it.
I have left clipped cigars sit for 6 months & found them smokable.
Sometmes I will leave it out over night and see if being a little dry doesn't improve the draw.

I checked the draw and it was fine before lighting it and i thought mabey it was wet and went down a little and clipped more and nothing happend so mabey there was a plug i guess next time ill try poking a skewer thew it if it happens again.
