Ya, I know, I never thought it would happen. I grabbed a CAO (can't remember, it was from last month cigar of the month) went into the garage to practice my smoke rings :) Anyway, it was a great cigar until, I got a little light headed, I said ok, this is fine. I kept on practicing drawing in HUGE ammounts of smoke and letting it sit in my mouth getting my lips ready for the perfect smoke ring.

Well about 2 mins later my stomach just rolled over, I doused the cigar, and walked outside to get some fresh cool air. It helped a little. I was miserable. Stomach going crazy, getting cold.

Couple mins of fresh air I'm feeling better. I go inside sit at the computer. Still feeling sick. Well i thought it would go away, it didn't, 30 mins later i said screw this, I went to the bathroom and made myself ralph lol. I immediatly felt better. :barf:

Anyway, I lost my need for a cigar for a few days, prolly a few more days to go :( .

I wasn't smoking on an empty stomach, I lost my dinner from Applebees

I am assuming since I let the smoke sit in my mouth for so long after exhailing my saliva was saturated with smoke. After swallowing my saturated-saliva-spit many times I guess it was just to much.

like i said, i've never had this happen before. Anyway, it was quite the expierience 8)

You swallowed your nicotine laden saliva??

:eek:mg: :eek:mg: :eek:mg:

:rotflmao: :rotflmao: :cryinlaugh: :cryinlaugh: :neer: :neer: :neer: :sm_angel:

Believe me, if I hadn't done it about five or ten times over the nine years I've been smoking cigars, I wouldn't be razzing you so much. As The Great StainMaker himself might say . . .

Ah feeeeeelllll yawhr Payne!!!

It could have very easily been the Applebees. I have a few friends that have worked there and I could tell you some stories

I use chewing tobacco sometimes. Sometimes I forget what the hell I have in my mouth and swallow it or some of it... god what a mistake. Dizzy, lightheaded, sweating, shaking... havent puked yet but Ive come close. A cigar has never done that to me though thankfully!

doubt it

I eat at applebees prolly once every two weeks for years. I've never had a problem. I don't wanna hear any stories either cause I LOVE applebees.

What I don't know won't hurt me right? :?

I've never "Ralphed", but I've felt "woozy" from cigar smoking. Next time, try drinking a little Coke; it seems to settle my stomach.

You're now an official cigar smoker, though!

Before I even read the replies... I was going to say, it was probably the Applebee's!!

My biggest problem with them is the time you sit, time you wait, and the poor wait staff. And it's not just one... it's like ALL I've been to. And something about the night my friend received a chicken breast that had been seared, but forgotten to be cooked after that. Yeah, it was raw... Terrible experience!

I've never ralphed after a cigar... YET! I'm sure I will sometime. I have very easily gotten the light head, slightly churning stomach from a few smokes before. Once, I even got done, came inside, and just vegged in the recliner. Didn't feel like moving, even!

<~~~ Ralphed after my first CAO Brazilia!!!! (What a dumbass)

I didn't puke, but the CAO Brazilia almost made me hurl. I had to sit on the stairs on my front poarch then lay back it took about an hour or so to feel normal again.

I've ralphed twice in association with cigars. The first time it was a Litto Gomez Diez Chisel that did me in. It might've been what I had to eat tho...I was smoking it, and I started to feel really weak and could barely even hold the cigar, so I finally put it down and went in. Maybe a half hour later I was just sitting there on the edge of my bed and I was feeling worse and worse, and finally I blew chunks all over my floor...

The second time was in my hotel room in Chicago after the sitdown, but I think the copious amounts of rum had somethng to do with that. I made it to the toilet that time.

Try sucking on a sugar cube, that will help with the stomach.

For what I can tell of this thread -
My little 96 pound wife, ca smoke any of you guys off the floor!!!!!!!!!
But hey who's keeping score

I must be the only person that doesn't ever get lightheaded, upset stomach, or any ill-effects whatsoever from cigar smoking. Maybe I am just lucky that way.
