Enjoying Life!
I am taking my wife to wine country for our anniversary over the weekend. I was wondering if anyone had knowlege of the better wineries to visit. Thanks for any help.

If it was me; I would want to see the Jordan Winery, Murphy Goode, Dynamite, Geyser Peak.

What town will you be staying in? I want to go to Healdsburg.
 
I am actualy staying in Sonoma. Not sure if we are going to do a guided tour, a private limo tour, or just hop on some bycicles and check it out, I probably will vote against the lat one, too much work
 
I would go with a guided tour. There was a real cool one I saw with a horse drawn carriage that visits four wineries and stops for a picnic. I will send you the link when I find it again.

I am so excited to look into this stuff; I am very jealous right now (but happy for the two of you).

Sounds really cool. I know only one of the wineries (Alexader Valley Wines) but they are good. I don't know how you could go wrong with any of the wineries in Alexander Valley; all of my favorites are in Alexander Valley or close to it.
 
Thanks man, I almost booked it. Only problem is it is 30+ miles from where I am staying so it will not happen. I am planning on tasting all the wine :mrgreen:
 
I did not realize how big Sonoma County is. I will have to find another one for you.
