Those are HUGE!! How is the fight?

They are amazing to fight!
2 reasons -
1st they are an acean fish and just have a lot of fight in them.
2nd their mouths are kind of soft so you can't horse them.

It's a set the drag fight and let them fight the rod and drag until they tire out.
Really a lot of fun!
I smokes 3 cigars when I was there -
the best being the Partagas Short.
Lots of bugs so I am always puffing to keep the flys out of my face!
I'll be back there fishind this wekeend I am sure!~ :D

Amazing how pictures can add 10 pounds on a fish, CC.

nah, really, NICE catch there! I wish I was where you were.

For the most part it is the opposite - pictures make fish look smaller.
The trick is to hold your arms out all the way -
if you hold the fish close to you the shrink?
But that was a big one - not the biggest so far this year I got one the day before that was a MONSTER!
No Camera of course :?

I love it, cigars and fish tales, what could be better? :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

3rd reason they appear to be a "split tail" fish....usually anyhting withn a split tail will fight better than others

Where I live is called sailfish alley...the Gulfstream comes very close to our coast here in Jupiter and we have great offshore fishing
