Hey everyone,

Tonight is the epitome of a perfect summer evening. I'm sitting on my deck which overlooks my garden. I'm enjoying a Padron 1964 Imperial and a glass of Laphroaig 10yr old. It's 25 degrees celcius (which is PERFECT at night) and there is the tiniest of breezes in the air - almost not even noticeable. I worked intensively at the restaurant for the past 3 weeks and finally I have some time off - they've given me three whole days. Now is the time that I can finally sit back, relax, and just let my stresses flow out of me.

This '64 is simply delicious. This is the last one that I have in my humidor (which reminds me that I must purchase more!) so I've been saving it up for the perfect moment. It isn't too complex nor simple either. It smells wonderful and tastes even better!

Anyways, I really wanted to write more but my stogie is calling to me. When you gotta go, you gotta go! Haha, I guess I just HAD to upload this post because I wanted to share is wonderful moment I'm having with you all as many of you have shared your 'cigar moments' with me (through this forum).

Thanks for the sharing Mont, it sounds great. Sometimes just simply relaxing and enjoying the moment is the best energizer.

That sounds like a perfect night.

I never paired a PAM with Laphroaig.....I think you have something there. They don't match, infact they are almost opposites....it just might work!

Thanks! You dont mind if I steal that do you?

In fact, I DO! haha just kidding. Remember, I'm SHARING this experience with you all, not sticking it behind a cage just for observation

I actually find that the Laphroaig goes very well with many cigars! However, some may find that it is a little too sweet but for me, that's okay! I've learned to love it.
