Rock Hill, SC
Heading to Charleston, SC this weekend for the bridgerun 10K. Does anyone know of any nice Cigar shops down there? I am probably gonna place an order on C.com here in about an hour, but I don't think they'll get here before I leave on Thursday.

Thanks!

Chip

There are several downtown; Tinder Box @ 177 Meeting St. and The Smoking Lamp @ 189 East Bay St. You should also visit Lianos Dos Palmas @ 52 1/2 Wentworth St. Here's their website: http://havacigar.com/

Where are you coming from? Do you know we are having the SC Sit Down smoke on April 22nd in Columbia?

I am coming from Rock Hill. Yes, I knew about the Sit Down, I was actually trying to find the thread about it. PM me any pertenant information. I have a friend in Blythewood that I am trying to get to go with me. I am definitely going to have to check out Lianos Dos Palmas. If for nothing else, I can see them roll em. Probably skip TB. All my experiences with them is that the prices are inflated and the staff is typically really high browed. I'll have to check out the smoking lamp. Looks like it is walking distance from Wet Willies (can't wait for that!!).

In my opinion, Kingston Tobacco is the best cigar shop in the area. Not sure if you're familiar with Charleston, but their main store is in Summerville, which you will pass coming into Charleston (It's about 10 miles west of Charleston). They also have a store in West Ashley as well. Their website is at http://www.kingstontobaccoco.com . Their store in Summerville has one of the largest humidors that I've seen.

I may have to check it out. I am fairly familiar with the area. We are Actually staying across the ashley river from Charleston at the Holiday Inn riverview (the tall round tower). Do you know if they carry Cusano there? I would like to pick up a few C18s.

I was last at the Summerville store a couple of weeks ago and they had all the Cusanos in stock; I was last at the West Ashley store a couple of months ago, and they had all of them in stock. More than likely, you'll find what you need.

Awesome. Are you running the bridge run or are you just gonna be irritaed by the sudden influx of traffic? I'll probably go to the west ashley shop, because it is closer. Thanks for your help!
