How do you use ConservaGel? They look like little white beads.

Brenda just got the exquisacat cat litter that van suggested i am bringing up the humidity level on it now looks just like the beads and a whole lot cheaper got it for 11.00 at petsmart this seems like it may be the best way to go imo

ah now i see i can be a lil dense sometimes

i would think its like most other media and must be seasoned

i put an amount of media and a bowl of water in an enclosed container to season

they are probly the same thing as the heartfelt beads. just put them in a tray no more than an inch thick and squirt some water in there, stir each time till about 80% of the beads are clear.

It was suggested to me to use distilled water

Yes, use distilled water only!

BTW, I'm gonna check out for those cat litter beads at PetSmart (since it's right across the street from me).

I've had the cat crystals in one cooler and a small desktop for several months now and haven't had any problems.
But I still feel more comfortable with the heartfelt beads I use in my 600 ct.
I moistened them with distilled H2O and a spray bottle.

I've got the Heartfelt beads. They have been great. I use distilled water and I add water with an 1 ml. medicine dropper. It keeps me from over watering. It usually takes 2 to 3 ml of water for 4 oz of beads for my 150ct humidor. And 1ml for my 50ct humidor

Having beads in with the oasis helps to not only minimize the swing when you open the lid/door but it also helps to make the cartridge last longer. I don't do this as I have no room for the beads. I'm pretty sure CC does though. Me thinks though that she wants them for her desktops as in the pictures they only had credos and gels in them.

Well, now I am going to have to make a trip to PetSmart, my Humidor has been swinging up and down lately with this crazy cr@ppy weather we have been having.
