I keep reading about all of these sit downs and people from the forum just getting together for drinks and smokes.

It's driving me MAD with jealousy!

Doesn't anyone live in southern California!?

Right on!
I grew up in L.A.
San Fernando Valley to be exact.

My parents and 2 brothers still live there.

My hope in starting this thread was to see if we could get some kind of get together for people on this forum who live here.

What do you think?

I don't drink DD, but I would surely smoke till I puked if we were on the same side of the country!

I'll be back in SoCal from 12/24 until 1/9, so I'm sure we'll be able to get together for a few smokes 8)

On a different note, I may be getting stationed in Quantico some time after I get back from Iraq. Then I'll be able to hang with some of you all on the east, finally!

I might come out there in the Spring to see my Godson in Santee. I have no problem coming up to Pendleton to have a few. Problem is, when I hang out with you, I might wanna sign back up! I will stay in touch to let you know what the plans are.

If you do go to Quantico, you are a few hours away from most of us. The Marine Corps Heritage Museum is due to open next November near Quantico, and I am heading down with my VIP ticket!

I'm going in Sept.
Although, there is talk about going as early as March.

Of course, I'll keep everyone posted.

I drive right past, well actually through, Quantico everyday on the way to work. Its almost at the halfway point of my commute. If you do come out, and I'm still in the area, we will definitely have to sit down for a smoke and a drink.
