Something sad and pathetic...

... I just figured out the other day, that I haven't had a cigar since early October! Wow... how sad for me!

Is it just me, or sometimes, doesn't it seem like you just don't have a chance to have one? I don't smoke inside the house. So, weather sometimes has an effect on it. I often don't have time before I go to work. I don't usually after work, because I work nights, my g/f days, and only get to see her after I get home from work at like 11pm everynight.

Just curious if I'm the only one that seems like there isn't a chance.

I go through a number of periods like that because of a busy work schedule and nearly five hour a day round trip commute. That's one reason why short cigars like robustos and other even smaller sizes exist. You don't always have a football game to sit in front of and enjoy a Churchill or Gigante.

I tend to get that way in the winter. The times that I have with good weather for sitting outside and smoking get few and far between.

I don't usually have an issue. I'll have a cigar anytime, anywhere. Nobody tells me what to do, not even me.

Damn that retirement!

I am outside a lot, even in winter. The two Huskies love the snow. One of my homes has a finished basement, full bar, and Smoke-Eaters, so I can sit back and relax there.

Yes, it also has an attached smokehouse where the moose and salmon are smoking away. If you visit him, he is often lounging in the parlor with the loyal huskies at his feet, while he puffs his cigar and enjoys a full glass of Fighting Weiner. Just understand those aren't rawhide bones from Petland Discounts his dogs are munching on. It's none other than the bones of the latest 1,500 pound moose, whose steaks, organ meats and other inner goodies you will find in the nearby freezer, good strong meat to keep The Colonel vibrant and vigorous for his wintertime retirement schedule, fighting off bear, bow and arrowing giant moose and lancing salmon for he, his huskies and the lovely lasses that pass through his retired rock star life.

A) Bloofington, I can disregard the security camera. I now know who's been peering in the window.

2) Yes, Smoke-eaters really work.
