that put a smile on your face.

as if the 80 deg weather, the 5 vegas gold, and walkin my dog wasnt enough, as we were at the corner of the street getting ready to cross, a guy in an H2 pulls up to the stop sign. He apparantly sees that im enjoyin a stoge and he puts his arm out the window brandishing a stoge as well and we cheered each other...stupid cheesy shite but enough to put me in an even better mood

lol, yeah, dc but in a fairly suburban neighborhood part of the city...
what did he give me? :? (im sure i miss the joke, i tend to do that :p :banghead: )

I guess cigars does have its own culture. Similar to motorcycle riders hand-gesturing (like a low wave) or nod when they pass each other.

That's really cool. I'm glad you had this rare experience.

Here in Boston, we only get bad looks and "stinky cigar" comments as we sit/walk in the city with a smoke.

I am going to start smoking cigars in Lab ... and see if my research advisor gives me a thumbs up...

because now in decatur, GA you can't smoke in bars!

That's great. Its pretty rare here. Occasionally I'll smoke outside in front of my shop which is on a highway that runs through town. I like to people watch and its a perfect spot. Some people ask me what I'm smoking or give a thumbs up and some point and glare. Some look at me like I'm doing something wrong while they smoke their cigarettes.  .

I guess I don't run into this topic often. One place I found interesting is at the Omaha airport. They have a bar there, but there is a sign saying "SMOKERS WELCOME!" then in small red letters it says, "NO CIGARS, PLEASE!"

I have a few words I would like to use to describe that, but I wish to remain a member of this forum.
