Here is my day:

Woke up and went to work. Was told by the guy letting me into the house I had to be there at 10:00 because he was doing me a favor. Its 10:15 and HE hasn't showed up yet. I call him and he forgot... I finally get started working at 11:00. Call from my boss, he added a job at 4:00 to put up 7 verticle blinds. That means I'll be working till 8:00. It starts pouring rain now I'm soaking wet. I have to cancel a dinner with this girl cause this job will take too long. Get there and get more wet, somehow work fast and get done at 6:00. Traffic is terrible from the rain, I don't get home till 7:00. Light up a cigar and start to dry off! Car alarm starts going off and I jump up. Its going crazy and won't stop going off, even while I drive it away from my house because my neighbors are all yelling for me to shut the F@$%^^# thing off. Stand in a parking lot in the pouring rain trying to get the power cord off with a tiny pair of pliers for 15 mins with the most shrill car alarm going off non-stop. Finally get it done, walk home about a mile in the pouring rain. Sit down and start writing this... because I know that the Steelers are going to lose, thats the only thing left that could go wrong for me today.

Well l me being a huge Browns fan,,lets hope your premonition comes true tonight bro. Screw the Steeler's,,,Screw the Steeler's,,,,Screw the Steeler's in the ground!!!!!
Maybe when they play the Browns we could get a friendly little wager going. You know a couple of stick's or so.
Oh yea hated you had to walk in the rain all the way back home. Nope didn't really mean that. Lmao

it is 8:22 kick off in 8 minutes , Steelers need to win tonight at home, they laid the mayor of Pittsburgh to rest today RIP Bob O'Conner, & his son a priest is at the game waving the terrable towel for his Dad , Steeler got to win one for the Mayor ! Enjoy, Vince

Halftime score, Pittsburgh 14 ,Miami 10

Now THAT'S what I'm talking about! What a pick by Porter - we'll be hearing some smack talk from him after that!

See, your luck's changing already! Sorry to hear about your crappy night, though it meakes me feel better about mine.

It went to the trash, I gave up on my entire day at that point and got in bed to watch the game.

Watch yourself kuzi you live in browns town now. you may get yourself into trouble with talk like that.

bildo hope you didn't take offense to my earlier post. Just some good natured ribbing from a browns fan on a steelers fan.

I was at one point in my childhood as foolish as you are... the browns will never win 8)

I grew up in Ohio and pulled for the browns when I was (rarely) watching NFL. Then when I got more into the NFL (5 or so years ago) I had to pick a team and went with the Steelers since my dad lives there and I thought The Bus was the Man!

I know the rivalry and thats yet another reason I love the Steelers. But don't worry, I am still the biggest Bucks fan on the planet. You know what I will be doing tonight.

Although that big tight end's right foot swiped the sideline around the seven, and definitely went out around the 1 1/2, no excuses. I, as a Jets fan, also liking the Steelers since before they were brought into the AFC during the merger of the leagues, was rooting for them and sitting with a Steelers fan. We loved the win. I had been waiting all game to see the Steelers swarming defense with Polamalu wreaking havoc all over the field and it finally happened, and at just the right time.

Saban was a real I don't know what with the way he waited until the last minute and then threw the red flag almost apologetically. He saw the same replay we saw at home on TV, WHEN we saw it, and for him to wait that long, and do that pansy-ass throw and not even yell really loud to get the guys attention, for me basically meant he and his team didn't deserve to have the play reviewed. You either march right out on the field, scream at the top of your NFL coach's lungs, and throw that flag right at the referee, or past him so that it enters his field of vision, or turn around and sit down.

Great, exciting win by the Steelers, after a sleeper of a first quarter. Super Bowl champs start off looking like Super Bowl champs. Since my Jets will go 0-16, at least some games will be fun to watch this season.
