It seems within the past couple of months I have found a steady supply of this, my all-time favorite whiskey, specifically the No. 1 choice on my Top Ten Rye list. This place would be none other than the Grande Harvest Wines shop in nowhere else but Grand Central Terminal, a place I practically live in.

I am finding this whiskey at an incredibly reasonable price of $69.95 or a "walk-out price" (tax included) of $75.98. If I were going to the firing squad I'd pick this over any of my favorite bourbons, you name it, this is the stuff. It is labeled as being from batch RW108, was distilled in 1981 and bottled early this year. So far, much earlier this year I have been blessed to try bottle Nos. 249, 238 and recently have picked up bottle Nos. 109 and 104. They replaced bottle No. 104 with another one just minutes after I bought it. I'd venture to say whatever number that bottle is I'm on it like white on rice within the next couple days.

This incredibly fine, spicy, sweet, candy like, extremely bold flavored whiskey is from a batch of 636 bottles. Pick it up if you see it around.

Bottle No. 120 is now residing in my liquor cabinet.

Don't ask, don't tell.

(In a heavy French accent): But of courrrrrrrrrrrrse.
