Anyone every try one of these sticks. It was reccomeded by a guy from the local shop. Got it sittin in my humi right now. Oh yeah and due to DevilDogs hype of the Monte white i had to get one of those to try too.

The Griffin's regular line was an old favorite of mine dating back almost to my earliest days of smoking cigars, which would be late '96. I discovered those early on, perhaps in late '96, certainly by mid '97. The size I liked, the Prestige, at 7 1/2x50, is kind of hard to get these days, and the price has gone up, so I haven't had any in years. If they taste anything like the ones I smoked, they're great. A light Connecticut shade wrapper, with potent filler, giving medium body and flavor, with a bit of a kick.

I've had one. Very similar to the White.

You'll enjoy them both!

Now I'm jealous!

I only have one White left.

I like the Griffins also, nice smooth cigar. Too mild for some folks - I really like it in the morning with a cup of coffee.

Id like to thank DD for his repeated recommendation of the Monte White cause mmmm mmmm i smoking it right now with a cup of pecan praline coffee.

Great burn, Great pull, Great taste, just overall great

like the Avo line, the Griffin cigars are made by Davidoff. they're very nice cigars.

Back in the mid-1990s I had a source that would get me free samples (on occasion) of "The Griffin's." A very mild but still flavorful smoke in all sizes I tried (mostly larger ones--something like double corona, and large figuradoros). I miss them--especially for free.

Did anyone else open up this thread expecting it to be about the Family Guy?

Giggity Giggity Goo!
