CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA!!!!
I had a pretty long day at the mine yesterday, so what a wonderful suprise it was to see that my lots had arrived from Cigarbid.com. I not only got a great deal but the Gurhka Legend 8 year torpedo that I toasted last night was incredible!! Smooth and sweet with a subtle nuttiness to it, the wrapper was really oily and pliable in my fingers. The stick burned even and at a enjoyable pace for me, I think it took about 30 -40 minutes to burn it to the nub I smoked it to. The flavor stayed very consistent, which, I'm guessing occurs with the aging? I'm not a huge ager of sticks yet, so, I understand most every stick is aged around 3 or so years, but these are just right! I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in a wonderfully consistent quality cigar. The rest of my list follows, no slackers here either!

Torano Tribute '03 Churchill
Gurkha Legend '8 Years Aged' Robusto - 10-Pack
CAO Black Ltd. Edition Gothic
Gurkha Legend '8 Years Aged' Torpedo - 5-Pack

Wow sounds like you had yourself a good ole' time. Thanks for the reccomendations, im always looking for some good stodies. But the title of this thread threw me off a little, my idea of a "Happy ending" is somthing diffrent!

The Ghurka Legend Torpedo is one of my very favorites...wish I could afford one everyday! Last night I had my first Oliva 'Series X' Chairman. It was excellent, Smooth and complex, it kicked my butt!

Love the Oliva's as well freedom! The gurkha was a fantastic smoke, and I bought 25 of them for less then 100.00 bucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was thinking about re-doing my title thinking that it maybe micunderstood that way! :?

Always happy to help with reccomendations!

Oliva's make a solid stick!! I've been smoking a little something that I keep next to Diploma in my book......

They really make some good smokes....

Can't wait to see them next week at the Chicago Big smoke!!

You and your Diplomas Thor! Crack me up my friend, truely! I have some on the way just because of you and the forum! I'm going to either have to get the Club off the ground really fast, or I'm going to need a large 2000+ humidor very quickly! :p

I feel you on the humidor....A few months ago I picked up a 30 box canbinet....I have three other working humi's...but it's too much work....I could use a few thousand counter too

There is one just like the one you gave to CC on cigarbid at 451.00 right now! 185.00 in shipping, so, never now. I would buy it, and the wife actually OK'd it until she found out it's in light Oak. Sadly it matches nothing in the house, and the garage is too unstable temp wise to make it worth my while. But maybe someone else could take advantage of a 2000+ dollar 3000+ count cigar cabinet for possible a few hundred bucks!!

whoever gets it though, Just remember your friends!!! :D :D :D :D

Oh ya, forgot, anyone interested in going in with me on this box? I'm at 256.00 right now with 6.00 in shipping. Let me know, I may let it go if no one esle would be interested in some of these sticks.

The Gurkha 1940 Series is made with certified Pre-Embargo Cuban tobacco. The leaves are 60 years old and the tobacco has been certified by Christie’s. The taste has been described as medium-bodied with a subtle spiciness. Production was limited and very few are available for sale on the market.
