Say hello to my new grouse dog. His full name is Crosswind's Secret Agent Hawkeye, call name Hawkeye. He is a 2 year old German Shorthair Pointer, and trained by professional trainer Scott Townsend. His Dad (Crosswinds Truckin' Fritz) is the #1 GSP in the country right now, 10 time NSTRA champion. Hawkeye is only 42 pounds, bred for NAVDHA/NASTRA trials. He is stylish on points, hold his birds well, and retrieves to hand. He is a bird finding machine. He is the darker ticked/ shorter dog of the two pictures. The other is my friend Andy's dog, Snickers, JH titled.

Fantastic Capt! My seconf fav dog in the world is the GSHP! Beautiful! Congrats brother.

He tried to be dominant with Big the second day, but 90+ lbs vs. 42 lbs, just wasn't a contest. :lol: They get along, but they really don't even pay attention to each other.

I can imagine - after meeting Big, I knew he'd be tough to push down to second fiddle...
